(16) RONIN Chain and RON Value Analysis (Part 2)

In 15th article I talk about the value of the Ronin chain (actually the article was written in Chinese first on 2021/11/07), I think the Ronin chain is helpful to solve the Ethereum congestion problem, so its value will be high, but I made a common-sense mistake. 

Without a large number of Decentralized Applications, partially solves the congestion problem can't get too much value. If the Ronin chain wants to be more and more valuable, then it needs more and more Dapps on it.

The prices of crypto currencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum have reached so high, different people have different understandings about this result. Many people who are not involved in the blockchain think this is a Ponzi Scheme and believe that these crypto currencies are meaningless;

While many people who speculate on crypto currencies think that this is a new capital market, because there is continuous participation of funds, so crypto currencies price has go high; 

Many people who study blockchain content and technology think that there are applications based on blockchain technology called Dapps and the continuous development of organizational DAOs that make these crypto currencies get the price today.

Now I think that the price of crypto currency shows the amount of money the society has invested on it and the development of its applications and organizations. The current result comes from a combination of many factors!

Here are some examples of Blockchain applications:

1.BTC Lightning Network. Bitcoin's high transaction fees and extremely low processing speed have been criticized by people. In February 2015, a paper proposed the concept of Lightning Network. This application will be mainly used for instant small payment with high speed. It is a technological advancement based on Bitcoin and blockchain.

2. Market based on Ethereum smart contracts. On the NFT trading platform OpenSea, users can create their own NFT artworks and trade them among each other. The minted NFT works are stored on the Ethereum blockchain through smart contracts. As long as the Ethereum keeps running, these NFTs will be kept forever.

3. Decentraland. A decentralized virtual reality game, where users have virtual plots, They can build theme parks and casinos, and can be monetized and trade among each other.

Today applications and organizations based on Blockchain Technology still have a rapid growth rate. More and more people, companies, and countries are beginning to rethink how much blockchain technology will change our lives in the future.

For example, Facebook has changed its name to Meta, demonstrating a strong desire and confidence in Meta Universe, and one of the content support for asset confirmation and transactions in Meta Universe is NFT and currency crypto both are hottest in 2021.And these things may also be hottest in 2022.

Then what knowledge and skills should we learn, and how can we participate in the application expansion and development of the Ronin chain?

At present, I know several ways to join :

1. Buy AXS and SLP, deposit them in Ronin wallet, swap them in Katana, the decentralized exchange of Axie Infinity, form a pair of AXS/Weth or SLP/Weth, provide liquidity in the pool, then Farm.Then we will obtain Ronin chain tokens RON. Or we can play Axie Infinity game to get SLP, and then do the above steps to farm RON.

2. Learn the knowledge of Ronin chain, know interface functions, and learn programming smart contracts. The programming knowledge is not only limited to those smart contracts on Ronin chain.

     I mean all blockchain smart contract programming has great potential in the future, and market demand is likely to be high in a short period of time. Now recruitment of Meta Universe content makers has begun to got hot!!!

3. Do Axie Infinity-related content creation and Art creation, and wait for the Ronin chain to open the non-functional artwork on the chain in the future, then make the digital content on the chain and trade these NFTs to get income.

4. Learn more about cross-chain related knowledge, and study the Ronin chain as the side chain of Ethereum, which other chains may be connected with Ronin Chain in the future. Layout as soon as possible and wait for the moment when the cross-chain begins to explode.

At present, the information I know is that Axie Infinity will be interoperable with SandBox games in the future, including: the land content and tokens of these two games. In the future, the player groups of these two games will see each other in these two games and obtain tokens for these two games.

From the recent Ban Wave Event, the war between Sky Mavis and small game studios will continue. Axie Infinity and Ronin chain will continue to encounter new problems and challenges, investors may to be affected in the wars, that means the risk is still high. 

Therefore, my personal suggestion is that even if you are very optimistic about the value of the Ronin chain and the future of Dapps on it, you must first evaluate your risk tolerance and even prepared to lose all you invest.Then try to invest!!!

Blockchain Technology definitely has a threshold. It is not simply copy code. It is very easy to lose when emphasizing the content of the software while ignoring the hardware foundation!

For myself, I still need to learn a lot of things and summarize a lot of things about BlockChain and Axie Infinity.
