(20) Comparison of the two blockchain projects I participated in

    This article is mainly based on the information I got at present . I want to make some comparisons and analyses about these two projects. It can also be regarded as a personal summary of the past few months. 

    Since I begin to play Axie Infinity in August this year and learn the knowledge of blockchain , do a lot of research , I have only participated in two blockchain projects:  Axie and BBS.

    From the content of the projects, Axie Infinity is a Block chain game with its own Ethereum side chain Ronin , it belongs to GameFi; BBS is a forum and use EOS to store posts, it belongs to SocialFi.

    From the perspective of the development time , Axie Infinity was developed in 2018 and has been developed for more than three years by the end of 2021. BBS’s current largest forum on Star Wars was created on March 16, 2021. BBS is still in the very early stage .

    As the number of users, Axie Infinity has reached one million players at the top, while the largest forum holder of BBS has more than 20,000 members.Recently，it seems got more than 200,000 members in the past month.

    Issuance and development of Tokens, Axie Infinity already has three types of tokens, two of them can be traded in market, while BBS has only one type of token. There is currently no exchange that can trade its tokens.The problem of Axie token is that their prices keep going down these days.That makes less players come.I think it will be changed after Sky Mavis launch new playmodes ,but they don't launch for the moment and I don't know when they will.The big advantage of BBS token is that it will be free to get，which I'm sure will attract more and more users to come.

    With the massive increase in the number of users, both projects are currently facing some problems. Axie Infinity's energy system and pets have been abused. Sky Mavis can only punish some studios by banning, and delays other gameplay modes and land playmode. The BBS project started to limit the time for users to post due to a large number of spam posts with an image , and arranged for administrators to hide meaningless posts, with limited effect.

        The amount of information and problems brought by millions of players in Axie Infinity is huge, which has caused a problem of feedback takes long time(maybe several weeks or even longer). Well, once website problems and suggestions are reported in the BBS Network ,users can get a reply within a day. 

        My personal feedback in BBS Network is answered quickly, and the experience was satisfying. As for Axie Infinity, even though I wrote more than a dozen articles and shared links on Twitter, there was basically no attention, and the experience was very bad. So recently, I have been actively posting the content of BBS.

    Aixe Infinity is supported by YGG, and BBS has Crypto Banter to help promote it.Both of them develop fast in 2021.

    Regarding the future development, Axie Infinity also has new V2 Battle, land play, RON Release, peripheral products, advertising revenue, education revenue, etc., so I think the long-term prospects are very broad; and BBS still has many topics and content that has not been lead into this forum. At present, only a few big forums such as Star Wars, Crypto Banter, Spiderman have developed well. The goal of BBS may be to defeat Reddit in the future. It is really a long way to go.

     Personally I think that these two projects will both have a better development in the future, and I look forward to their performances in 2022. Of course, there are still many problems in front of them that need to be resolved one by one.

(22) 2022年1月对Axie Infinity发展和当前问题的分析与思考

           在经过2021年NFT、链游、 元宇宙爆火的一年后，我认为2022年这些内容会得到更广泛的共识，得到进一步的发展。因此，在今年我会继续学习、总结相关内容的个人看法，尤其是对我参与的链游Axie Infinity更要认真学习、积极参与，我对它依然有信心，但是，不像两个月前那么狂热了。这篇文章做个总结，也介绍一下我对Axie Infinity游戏发展和问题的一些想法，希望看到文章的朋友可以做个参考，可以在2022年有一份属于自己的收获。          我是2021年8月入场的，项目出差期间看了YGG宣传Axie Infinity的视频，初步了解什么是Play to earn，然后就匆匆入场，并开始整理思路写关于Axie Infinity内容的文章，结果，9月初文章没什么收获，自己的账号就被骗子给骗个精光，可谓当头一棒了。后面是小心翼翼重新建了一个Ronin钱包入场，在经历过AXS质押，Katana上线和流动性Farm获得RON后，就慢慢见证了这一波衰退期的降临，到现在，只能在游戏的微信群里和新认识的朋友们聊聊天，对SLP价格不断下跌吐吐槽了。         Axie Infinity其实有很多内容可以进行商业版图的扩展，但是，让我搞不懂的是，到目前为止，它在商业版图扩展上还是没什么大动作。最早我觉得Axie宠物设计了6个部位，各种风格，可以随意组合并配有技能，Q版卡通很适合发展动漫内容，我自己提过建议，也看到官方做过一些有趣的动画，然后就没有下一步的计划和内容了，这是其守在金矿上却不开采的问题之一；另外，我有看到过推特上官方项目人员和一些粉丝玩家穿过Axie Infinity的T恤，制作了一些Axie的布绒玩偶，但是却从来也没见过官方和其他厂家合作开发这些日用品；我也看到过有些玩家和游戏公会在组织聚会时制作Axie样式的蛋糕，看上去也非常有趣，但是官方也没有和其他食品厂家合作开发Axie相关的食品。这些日用品、食品其实都是拥有广阔市场的领域，如今，只能继续看着相关数字资产的价格下跌，眼巴巴的等着游戏内容更新，实在让我想不明白，为什么这些可以赚钱的内容上Sky Mavis一直没有动作呢？不知道2022这一年，在这些问题上Axie Infinity是否会给我一个不同的答案。          也许在2022年我们可以期待的一个内容：Axie的租赁

（6）What can Axie Infinity do before Meta-Universe come true

     After the explosion of the NFT game Axie Infinity, many other NFT games imitating it have sprung up one after another. The Meta-Universe shown by the movie "Ready Player One" has been mentioned time to time , activate people to buy crypto-currency and NFTs. People come into the bubble, thought the opportunity to make a fortune is just in sight. At the same time, many people remain sober, tell others about speculative risks. I think that neither excessive excitement, nor excessive caution is necessary. There is still a long way to go before Meta-Universe arrives, before that there are many work to do. In addition to game content, Axie Infinity also has great potential in animation, and has conditions to become a big cartoon IP. I mean, for now its conditions includes: 1. (27) From Don't Starve & Terraria To Axie Infinity & the Pixlverse

        Though many big companies and media say VR/AR is an important content of the metaverse, they even say that VR/AR is the base of the Metaverse. However many other people don't think so, VR/AR is good but not a must. It will bring a considerable threshold (mainly on the level of hardware and technology) and certain limitations.            As an experienced player, there are many games that can bring me a sense of immersion. Among them, there are both 2D and 3D, but the most important thing in games is not the vision effect, but the clever design and rich gameplay content , especially those sandbox games, often make me forget the time.
