(23) The draft plan for the operation of the BBS-based Axie Infinity community DAO

        In the two blockchain projects I participated in (Axie Infinity and BBS), I compare their advantages, problems, article link: (20) Comparison of the two blockchain projects I participated in . Since then, I've been thinking about how to effectively combine these two projects. Now my idea is to create a DAO organization based on the Axie Infinity Forum.Maybe we can call it Axie&BBS DAO .

        In this DAO, members could promote Axie Infinity, share materials and information, provide more scholar opportunities, and so on. However, this requires a certain level of support from Sky Mavis, and it needs time to develop well.

  

        First of all, it is necessary to apply for funds from the Axie community as the basic funds to operate this BBS. In the initial stage, I think that 3-6 administrators are required, and each person needs 0.3-0.6 AXS per month as a 'salary', and 50 AXS is enough in the initial stage, or a minimum of 30 AXS.

        Recruit people who are interested in this job content on Discord and WeChat groups as needed, they should have English and Chinese skills. Other countries such as the Philippines, South Korea, Japan, etc. should be absorbed according to the its development.

        At present, I have no understanding of the requirements and conditions of the channel mod and content creator tags on the official Discord. We need to find a way to apply for such tags in order to recruit interested people on Discord.

        In addition to providing Axie Infinity content and education, Axie&BBS DAO will also consider providing Scholars to members in the future. This part of the content needs to be planned according to the development, and the initial plan is not less than 5 Scholars slots.

        Within 1-2 months, the members should be no less than 200-300 users. With the release of new content in Axie Infinity games, Axie&BBS DAO will have the opportunity to further develop , and the potential users of this DAO should be more than 2000 by the first half of 2022.

        We also need Advisors from Axie Infinity or Sky Mavis team.

        DAO Risks and Issues:

        1. Start-up capital for the project.

        2. Whether the application conditions for the relevant tags on the official Discord are met.

        3. Long-term operational risks, personal donations and uneven distribution of income may cause the failure of the DAO project.

        4. Other legal and policy issues (especially in China).

        5. The long-term effective operation of DAO still needs to be controlled by more capable and discerning people, and it is necessary to formulate more detailed operating rules, including the editing, modification and improvement of related codes. In the short term, we still have to rely on the strength, enthusiasm and benefits of the early contributors.

        Other suggestion about Axie Infinity in Discord:

        During the process of participating in BBS and Axie Infinity, I found that except for English, the support for other languages ​​is very small. I think it should be strengthened. Since the goal of blockchain projects is to cross countries ,if there is no obstacle in the country, then different languages should also not be a problem.

        It is only convenient for English speaking now, but this can't support millions, tens of millions of users from various countries. In China, as far as I know, many Axie Infinity players could not speak English very well. They couldn't get effective support on Discord, and this gives an opportunity to scammers.

       In Chinese channel, I have talked with some players who are active on Discord and have answered many new comers' questions. I suggest the team consider make enthusiastic players as Chinese speaking channel mode. The current channel mod supports seldom answer questions of new comers, I have never seen them take the initiative to answer player questions in Chinese speaking channel.

Builders Program: The First Projects Accepted!
