(29) Good Contents Glimpse and Future Development of Axie Infinity in March 2022

First of all, I would like to make a statement: I am a player and supporter of Axie Infinity. Over the past 7 months, I have completed nearly 30 articles about Axie Infinity (both in Chinese and English). I shared my articles in some forum platforms such as Zhihu(知乎)，Wechat(微信公众号) and BBS. I appreciate the idea of Web 3.0 very much, and believe that the creator economy of Web 3.0 will be an important development direction of the Internet in the future.

Both Axie Infinity and BBS are Web 3.0 projects based on blockchain technology. They will develop very well in the future. However, during the process, there will also be many problems come out. I hope that the teams can actively respond to these problems and solve these problems as soon as possible.Sometimes even some very noisy suggestions also have positive effect on the future development.

Axie Infinity has become the leader of Blockchain Games in 2021, the number of daily active users has reached more than 2 million at the peak, and the total transaction volume has exceed 4 billion US dollars in 2022. But in fact, its goal is a game platform based on Axie NFT，not only a small card play game. The card game and pet breeding game we play are only two basic games on this platform. There are still a large number of games being built.

Below are some of game content collected by myself from twitter，which includes tower defense gameplay, racing gameplay, 2D and 3D action battle gameplay, and 2D land construction gameplay.We could have a quick look now :

These game contents（new games） are just what I saw on Twitter. In fact, there are also many other games I haven't got. The future of Axie Infinity won't be limited to only a few small games. The gameplay modes of Axie Infinity are endless!

I appreciate that it invites large and small studios all over the world to use its SDK. This is also a kind of venture investment (VC). Recently it will invest in about 100 projects , although I do not know the number of projects that finally landed, I do hope the number could be above 60%. I am sure more and more Axie-NFT-based projects will be launched in the future, and there will even come out some games that earn more and have more users than the games from Sky Mavis!!!

What we should know is that in 2021, game platforms such as Steam have removed Axie Infinity's card games, for NFT content, but in fact this is only one of the reasons. Another reason is that it wants to curb the development of new game platforms, because Axie Infinity, whose target is a Web 3.0 game platforms, will definitely compete with them for users and developers in the near future!

Some people say that Axie Infinity is getting cold / going to die, they judge from the price of axies in the market, the number of daily transactions, and the drop of daily active players. But I don't agree with this analysis.I think the decline in Axie prices and daily trading volume is entirely a normal market sentiment feedback.

After two SLP production cuts and a large-scale ban on multiple accounts, some Axie Infinity investors have suffered heavy losses.So axie prices and daily transaction volume has reduced, this is players' decision and votes to the action of economy balance. Most of the players don't understand why don't provide more ways to use SLP, only cut down the production.I also think more ways of spending SLP is more important than reduction .

Now there are about 650,000 pets on sale in the market, compared with the total of more than 10 million. Only about 7% is on sale. This doesn't mean Axie Infinity is over. I mean if it is over, there should be more than 2 million or 3 million on sale.In fact, to most of people in stock market and blockchain market, FOMO makes big influence on our thinking and trading strategies. Less investors will spend time and energy to do research on what is good to buy. Usually , we will follow the market, buy when price high, and sell when price cheap. In that way , it is difficult to earn. Now Axies are cheaper than last year,but less new players want buy, this is just the situation in all market!

At present, I buy some good-looking pets as to my preferences. I think that when Axie Infinity becomes popular again in 2022, there will be no doubt that these good looking axies price will go very high again, double or triple will be very easy for current price.

Axie Origin is about to go live recently, and I saw Jiho on Twitter asking players how they started playing Axie Infinity. Here I want to share my origin. I happened to see a promotional video made by YGG when I was on a business trip in Malaysia.

At that time, I had just played Stardew Valley for a while, and I felt that playing a farm game by myself was a bit monotonous. It is better to find a simple card game, and I can get something from the game, rather than uninstall it after playing for a while and never touch it again.

So, when I saw Axie Infinity, I felt very new and good.What beyond my expection is that I spent more money, time and energy playing Axie than I expected at first. Due to lack of blockchain knowledge and lack of security awareness, I was also scammed once by a scammer who privately chatted with me on Discord.

I also wrote articles, and gave relevant security advice. I insist that the current security strategy is not enough, and smart contracts and security mechanisms need to be improved in the future.

In addition to the game content, I'm also looking forward to the animation content of Axie Infinity, some active players on Twitter have shared their small Axie animation videos. I hope to see Official Axie animations, movies in the future.

Recently，in Axie Origin, many skill cards can be expanded into an interesting little story.

Recently, I have seen the development of the BigYak Community based on Axie. In fact, I also made cards for my bigyak Axie last year. I hope there will be more interesting Axie communities come out in the future:

As a content creator of Axie Infinity, I have seen Sky Mavis' creator reward program. Although I have not read its details, I firmly believe that this is just the beginning, and there will be more opportunities to gain in the future.

I sincerely hope that in the future , Axie Infinity can get better and better, bring happiness and wealth to more players. I also want to remind Sky Mavis once again to pay attention to the safety of players' assets. Those scams and punishment for one machine with multiple numbers will cause loss of players' assets and wealth.

Of course, there should be more restrictions and punishments for cheaters, but for those players who invest real money and wealth, the punishment measures and decisions must be prudent, prudent, and more prudent! Excessive use of centralized punishment methods will not only lose reputation, but may also have an impact on the subsequent promotion of the Ronin chain to other projects.
